MAASAI CULTURAL TOUR
Tour highlight:
Let us take you to West Kilimanjaro to meet the Maasai at Olpopong village. At Olpopong Maasai village, you will learn a lot about the most famous tribe in East Africa, the Maasai. There is even a small museum at the village where you will learn the history of the Maasai, see their preserved tools and costumes.
THE ITINERARY
We will leave Moshi early in the morning and take a ride to West Kilimanjaro. On arrival at Olpopong village we will be welcome by a traditional Maasai welcome dance, and we will be briefed about the village and the tour by one of the Maasai warriors at the village.
After the briefing, the following activities will follow:
- A walk with wild animals
- A nature walk to learn Maasai medicine and craft
- Have lunch at the village
- A visit to the Maasai museum
- Have a lecture on Maasai history and culture at the Maasai museum
